Krasso Mihaylov is a contemporary realist painter who portrays the primal human experience dealing with issues of modern society. His works contain timeless images of inner drive and external force, of the latent pressure involved in being human. His figures are most often situated in simple environments, where the painter simulates common rituals of interpretation and meaning.

Krasso Mihaylov is a Bulgarian born painter, who lives and works in New York. He had private classes of drawing and painting since early age in his native country and study at the National Academy School of Fine Arts, New York, where he was a recipient of Ralph Fabri Scholarship and Artur Ross Scholarship. He received a Lorraine Grace Prize for Painting and Newington-Cropsey Foundation Grant for study in Florence, Italy.

His upcoming solo exhibition of paintings will run from May to June 2025 at Eleventh Hour Art in Brooklyn.
