Eleventh Hour Art is pleased to announce 11th on 50th, a group exhibition featuring Kelsa Kuchera, Forrest Eagle D’Olympia, Mohamed Yakub, Yung-wu, Angel Diaz, Christina Justiz Roush, and Yusuke Okada, alongside a curated selection from a private collection of renowned photographers and painters on the second floor. The exhibition will run December 5th through January 30th, with an opening reception on Thursday, December 5th, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Located adjacent to Saks Fifth Avenue and Rockefeller Center in a 10,000-square-foot space, 11th on 50th offers a temporary sanctuary within the heart of New York City, providing an opportunity to engage with local, contemporary artists. The exhibition bridges the gap between the public and the often-intimidating art world, inviting a broader audience to experience and connect with the transformative power of visual expression.

Kelsa Kuchera’s paintings delve into the fragility of memory and the tension between past and future through evocative abstraction. Forrest Eagle D’Olympia’s large, vibrant works blend animals, plants, and objects into or

ganic, abstract forms. Yung-wu, influenced by her New York upbringing and South Korean heritage, creates abstract works that explore identity and memory, using unconventional tools. Mohamed Yakub’s Kimono collection features digital images printed on silk, blending vibrant colors and profound symbolism to create a visual dialogue between tradition and modernity. Angel Diaz’s pieces are a dynamic and ever-evolving exploration of identity, culture, and expression. Christina Roush’s sculptures cast from live bodies examine the idea of persona as a shield of protection and a representation of the divine. Yusuke Okada’s colorful, seemingly lighthearted paintings mask a deep complexity, combining humor and serious themes in a balance of irony and reflection.

The upstairs gallery showcases a curated selection of powerful photographs and drawings, with an Americana theme, from both emerging and established artists.
